I’m going to be honest- at first, I was amused but didn’t really see why they won 1st. However, the longer I watched the more fun I had! They really picked it up in the second half. I loved the drop after the first “turn down for what”.
Honestly, I think another reason I was kinda ‘they alright’ in the beginning is that I wasn’t expecting seeing something like this in a hip-hop competition. I was really used to the hardcore ‘I’m a bad boy/girl’ dancing. The more I watched and thought about it, I gained appreciation for their uniqueness.
